Our Events
“I gained so much from participating in an OSI event. The speakers made the presentations interesting and informative. I highly recommend attending at least once to anyone interested in social change or learning.”
— Josh Lange - Graduate Student, Veteran, and Medical Professional (attended solutions forum 4)

Solutions Forum #9
Join our grassroots and cross-partisan Solutions Forum to promote social change around Gun Violence.
• OSI believes that our community is capable of finding innovative solutions that people from either political party can agree on.
• Gun violence is a complex issue in the U.S. with cultural and constitutional implications, but that should not stop our community from engaging in ways to address it.
• Issues like mass shootings in schools and domestic gun violence deserve our responsible and informed exchange of ideas.
Solutions Forum #8
Has any of your relationships been affected by politics? During this Solutions Forums a few of us shared how different views on abortion and gun violence led to strong disagreements with family members and friends.
Political polarization can be so intense that makes us not want to have a relationship with people that think different or that have a distinct political conviction. This is called political political polarization and at OSI we are committed to do something about it.
